Hi, I’m Julie, and my work passion is event planning. I find great joy in seeing well-made plans come to life. I caught the event bug shortly after college as a director for a few non-profit associations. My first conference was in Chicago, my first public event was 1,800 people, I quickly discovered that working to make an event successful from beginning to end was my favorite part of my job. I continued to gain experience planning big events and festivals for the organizations I represented. Then in 2000 with 10 years of event management experience I opened Hostess City Celebrations. I’ve now planned hundreds of events, conferences, festivals, and helped countless groups and companies reach their goals and provide value to their participants. I am energized by my clients and am always looking for new and better ways to serve them. I love that every event presents a new challenge. Experience has given me the tools needed to make my clients shine.
My personal passion is my family. When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me with them on the boat, cheering our son's team or my DAWGS, or entertaining at home on the river.
